April 30th, 2009 at 5:08 pmtrailerd my 1850 sport explorer to south fla…really funny..with my merc 150 optimax..buch of guys tried to out run me…not with x-7 prop 21 pitch..scarabs and wellcrafts…came along side them at 40 mph and then put the hammer down…63 mph….and still in breakin mode for the mercury…computer controlled to not rev too high yet…holy …thank you lund and merc marine

April 30th, 2009 at 5:08 pmps: my 1825 new lund…just fits in my new house garage…one of those new subdivisions…couldn’t believe it got the swing tongue trailer…about 2 inchs above…about 1 foot for the garage door to go down….was scared less putting it in…but it fit….towing it with a cts cadillac….go figure…works great

April 30th, 2009 at 5:08 pmLunds are great and quicker out of the hole. A Larson with a 305 might go 53-55 mph with a load. I think the Larson driver was a pansy! My larson with a 4.3 carb and one person has hit 58 mph.

April 30th, 2009 at 5:08 pmfor the lund only about 1,400 lbs fo a 18.5 footer get the max hp..go 150 optimax…with a 13.5 by 21 pitch…i swear it will out run most anything out there…withmy new one was doing 57 in 2 foot swells..got the full canopy up and spray was coming over the top…these boats and mercury are bullet proof…on my mothers grave..it’s that good…now mercury spring special has a five year warranty..and the warranty n the lund is right at for life….now in know why….brett.evansville, in

April 30th, 2009 at 5:08 pmits a hydrostream vegas skier. It has 5.5″ lift 6″ setback 27p prop witch is on there for a little more dig. I could probly go with a 29 or larger and maybe hit over 110 but honestly I think its fast enough. I can cruise all day at 60mph witch is faster than most boats top speed were I go. The aliisons are nice though.

I have never seen such rude people as I do when I work boat patrol in the summer and I have to constantly pull skiers over being drunken idiots and just when you think they learn their lesson, the same boat gets pulled over several more times in the same day for the same thing. As we saw in the video fishing boat won the race! FO
